Mini date scones
Based on Warren's fantastic soda pop scone recipe, add a few extras to make these delightful mini scones.

|4 cups||Self raising flour|
|1½ tsp||Baking powder|
|330 ml||Lemonade, bottle (or soda water for a less sweet dough)|
|200 g||Dates, chopped, pitted|
|1||Orange, juice of|
|1||Rum, or 2 capfuls|
|5 tbsp||Jam, use your favourite jam or preserve|
- To the soda pop scone dough recipe (ingredients included above), gently fold through 200g chopped, pitted dates, the juice of 1 orange, a capful or two of rum and a few Tbsp of your favourite jam or preserve.
- Spoon into a greased 24-hole mini muffin pan and bake in a hot (220C) oven for 20 minutes, until golden. This will make 48 mini scones.
