This is a recipe for nasturtium pesto, which tastes amazing and is a very cheap alternative to basil pesto when basil isn't in season. Serve on pasta or as a dip.

Ingredients

4 cups Nasturtium leaves
6 cloves Garlic
1½ cups Extra virgin olive oil
2 Chilli, fresh, finely chopped with seeds
1 cup Walnuts
1 to taste Salt

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Season with salt to taste. Store in the fridge.
