Uses of nasturtium
This is a recipe for nasturtium pesto, which tastes amazing and is a very cheap alternative to basil pesto when basil isn't in season. Serve on pasta or as a dip.
|4 cups||Nasturtium leaves|
|1½ cups||Extra virgin olive oil|
|2||Chilli, fresh, finely chopped with seeds|
|1 to taste||Salt|
- Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Season with salt to taste. Store in the fridge.
