|2 tbsp||Golden syrup|
|½ cup||Raw sugar|
|½ tsp||Baking soda|
|2 tbsp||Water, boiling|
|¾ cup||Rolled oats|
- Melt golden syrup, raw sugar and butter over a low heat.
- Dissolve baking soda in boiling water.
- Add the baking soda liquid to the golden syrup mix together with flour and coconut and rolled oats.
- Some cooks add 1/3 cup mixed sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Spoon on a tray, flatten with a fork and bake for 12 minutes (or until golden) at 180 degrees.
