Fresh pears and persimmons with vanilla syrup and icecream

Directions

  1. Peel and core the persimmons and pears. Slice thinly, put in a large bowl and toss the syrup through to coat all the fruit. When ready to serve, apportion the pears and persimmons in six glass dessert dishes.
  2. Place a generous scoop of icecream on the fruit, and drizzle over a little extra vanilla syrup.
