All good feijoa nut crumble
|½ cup||Dates, pitted & chopped|
|½ tsp||Ground cloves|
|1½ cups||Feijoas, flesh|
|2 cups||Apples, peeled, cored, chopped|
- Combine the top six ingredients by pulsing in a food processor until the mixture is like crumbs and well-combined. Put in a bowl.
- In the food processor, puree the apple, raisins and lemon juice. Chop the feijoa into chunks and combine with the apple puree.
- Spread the fruit mixture into a shallow ceramic dish. Spread the crumble mixture on top. Bake slowly at 125 degC for about an hour. Serve warm.
