All good feijoa nut crumble

Ingredients

½ Sunflower seeds
½ cup Dates, pitted & chopped
½ cup Walnuts
½ tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Ground cloves
1 pinch Salt
1½ cups Feijoas, flesh
2 cups Apples, peeled, cored, chopped
½ cup Raisins
1 Lemon, jucied

Directions

  1. Combine the top six ingredients by pulsing in a food processor until the mixture is like crumbs and well-combined. Put in a bowl.
  2. In the food processor, puree the apple, raisins and lemon juice. Chop the feijoa into chunks and combine with the apple puree.
  3. Spread the fruit mixture into a shallow ceramic dish. Spread the crumble mixture on top. Bake slowly at 125 degC for about an hour. Serve warm.
