Barbecue Chicken with Cranbery Sauce

Directions

  1. To make the sauce, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a saucepan. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, then add wine and bring to the boil.
  2. Turn down the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then add cranberry sauce and sage. Simmer for 5 minutes more to reduce to a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Heat a barbecue. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook over a medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes on each side until cooked through. Spoon sauce over chicken to serve.
