Ingredients

125 g Butter, softened
½ cup Caster sugar
½ cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Egg, large
1 tsp Vanilla essence/extract
½ tsp Baking soda
1 pinch Salt
1 cup Rolled oats
1 cup Chocolate chips
¾ cup Flour

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 160 degC fan bake and line two baking trays with nonstick baking paper. Place the butter and sugars  in a bowl and beat until pale and creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla essence.
  2. Add flour, baking soda, salt, rolled oats and chocolate chips and mix well to combine.
  3. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared trays and bake  for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on desired texture (see tip).
  4. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Will last for up to a week, stored in an airtight container.


Tip: Cook biscuits for 12 minutes if you want a chewy texture  or 15 minutes if you prefer crispy biscuits.

    I see in the method it says add flour but it is not listed as an ingredient - how much is required?
