|400 g||Chopped tomatoes|
|⅓ cup||Tomato sauce|
|1 tbsp||Worcestershire sauce|
|1 to taste||Salt & freshly ground pepper|
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil, then turn down the heat and simmer very gently over a low heat for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally and adding a small amount of water if the mixture becomes too dry.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with a steamed green vegetable, such as beans, asparagus or broccoli.
