Festive Fare: Chocolate cherry tarts

Fresh cherries, dark chocolate and Kirsch - simply delicious.

|150 g||Dark chocolate bits, or melts|
|2 tbsp||Kirsch, (cherry liqueur or substitute brandy)|
|12||Pastry tart cases|
- Heat cream in a bowl in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove top. Add chocolate to the hot cream and set aside briefly to melt. Whisk mixture until smooth. Whisk in the liqueur.
- Spoon chocolate mixture into prepared pastry cases to fill and set aside to cool and set.
- Arrange two cherries on the top of each chocolate tart to serve.
