Prune, chocolate and almond spirals
As far as desserts go, this is a pretty healthy option. Prune give the sweetness, almonds for nutty flavour and dark chocolate for a little decadence.

|¾ cup||Blanched almonds, toasted|
|100 g||Dark chocolate, broken into chunks|
|1 cup||Pitted prunes|
|1 tbsp||Orange, grated rind|
|6 sheets||Filo pastry|
|1 tbsp||Oil spray|
|1 to dust||Icing sugar|
- Preheat oven to 190 degC. Place almonds and chocolate in a food processor and pulse until roughly chopped. Add prunes and orange rind and pulse until just combined.
- Place a sheet of filo on a board and brush or spray with oil. Cover with another sheet of filo.
- Divide prune mixture into three, roll one portion into a log shape and place along the long side of the filo. Roll into a log, twist into a spiral shape and place on a baking tray. Brush with oil.
- Repeat with remaining filo and prune mixture. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Serve warm, cut in half and dusted with icing sugar.
Chef's Tip: Try these spirals for dessert with a dollop of creamy yoghurt.
