Pasta with tuna and brocoli
December seems to be a time when the pace of life speeds up.At times like this it is good to have some favourite recipes that are quick to prepare and can be reheated to serve those who get home later.

|400 g||Pasta spirals|
|1 to taste||Salt|
|1 to taste||Black pepper, ground|
|2 tbsp||Olive oil|
|¾ cup||Breadcrumbs, fresh|
|2 cloves||Garlic, crushed and finely chopped|
|½||Lemon, finely grated rind|
|12||Kalamata olives, pitted and halved|
|425 g||Tuna, drained and halved|
|1||Broccoli, head, chopped into small florets|
- Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta for 8 to 10 minutes until just tender. Drain when cooked.
- Meanwhile, heat a frying pan and toss breadcrumbs, garlic, lemon and olives with the oil until crumbs are golden. Add the flaked tuna and stir to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the broccoli in a saucepan of boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes until only just tender. Drain well.
- Toss the pasta together with the tuna crumbs and broccoli and serve at once.
