Grilled sirloin steak and stuffed mushrooms

The combination of pine nuts, feta and mushrooms makes an irresistible topping for a grilled steak.

Directions

  1. Place bread in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until it reaches crumb consistency. Combine crumbs with parsley, olive oil, pine nuts, crumbled feta and salt and pepper.
  2. Place spoonfuls of mixture in the cavity of each mushroom. Place mushrooms (with stalk removed) on an oiled oven tray and grill for 10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Heat a barbecue or hot plate until very hot, brush steaks with oil and season with salt and black pepper. Cook steaks for 3 minutes on each side or according to personal taste.
  4. Serve steak with stuffed mushrooms.
