Croissant french toast with bacon, tomato and pesto
Croissants make for a delicious - and decadent - breakfast. Serve to your loved one at home for the ultimate breakfast in bed.

|1 to taste||Salt & freshly ground pepper|
|2||Croissants, cut in half|
|1||Tomato, large, sliced|
|¼ cup||Basil pesto|
- Whisk together eggs and milk, then season well with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large frying pan until sizzling. Dip croissant halves into egg mixture and pan-fry in butter until golden brown on each side.
- Meanwhile, preheat grill and cook bacon until crisp.
- Arrange croissants on two plates, cover with bacon and sliced tomato, then top with a generous dollop of pesto.
