This dish is simply scrumptious served with barbecued or grilled meat straight off the barbecue.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place soy and almonds in a bowl. Leave to sit for 15 minutes Heat oils in a large frying pan.
  2. Toss almonds for 5 minutes, without burning. Add garlic (halved lengthways) to the pan. Cook 1 minute more.
  3. Add asparagus to the pan along with ¼ cup cold water and cook, tossing for 3 to 5 minutes until asparagus is just tender.
